Prevention Checklist
- Don't use tobacco in any form — the single largest preventable cause
- Limit alcohol; even moderate drinking raises breast and digestive cancer risk
- Maintain a healthy weight and stay physically active (150+ minutes a week)
- Eat more vegetables, fruits and whole grains; limit processed and red meat
- Use sunscreen and avoid tanning beds
- Get HPV and hepatitis B vaccines
- Test your home for radon
