Indications & Uses
Adjuvant therapy after tumor resection in patients with NSCLC whose tumors have EGFR exon 19 deletions or exon 21 L858R mutations; first-line treatment for metastatic EGFR-mutated NSCLC; and EGFR T790M mutation-positive metastatic NSCLC.
Contraindications
None.
Side Effects & Warnings
Interstitial lung disease / pneumonitis, QTc interval prolongation, cardiomyopathy, keratitis, diarrhea, rash, dry skin, nail toxicity, and stomatitis.
Drug & Dietary Interactions
Avoid coadministration with strong CYP3A4 inducers which substantially decrease osimertinib plasma concentrations.
