Indications & Uses
First-line and adjuvant treatment of melanoma, non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC), head and neck squamous cell carcinoma, classical Hodgkin lymphoma, urothelial carcinoma, microsatellite instability-high (MSI-H) solid tumors, triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC), and cervical cancer.
Contraindications
Known severe hypersensitivity to pembrolizumab or any of the excipients in the formulation.
Side Effects & Warnings
Fatigue, musculoskeletal pain, decreased appetite, pruritus, diarrhea, nausea, rash, fever, cough, dyspnea, and immune-mediated adverse reactions including pneumonitis, colitis, hepatitis, and endocrinopathies.
Drug & Dietary Interactions
Concomitant use of systemic corticosteroids or immunosuppressants before starting Keytruda may diminish clinical activity; however, systemic steroids may be used to treat immune-mediated adverse reactions.
