Cancer Support Communities
Cancer Support Communities are networks of patients, survivors, caregivers, healthcare professionals, and volunteers who come
together to provide emotional, educational, and practical support to individuals affected by cancer. These communities create a safe and compassionate environment where people can share experiences, seek advice,
and connect with others facing similar challenges.
Cancer support communities may offer peer support groups, discussion forums, counseling resources, educational programs, awareness
initiatives, survivorship support, and caregiver assistance. The goal is to reduce feelings of isolation, encourage emotional well-being,
empower patients with knowledge, and create a sense of belonging throughout the cancer journey.
