Supportive Care Education
Supportive Care Education refers to providing patients, caregivers, and families with information and guidance to help
manage the physical, emotional, psychological, and practical challenges associated with cancer and its treatment.
It focuses on improving quality of life and helping individuals better cope throughout the cancer journey.
Supportive care education may include information on symptom management, pain control, nutrition, emotional well-being,
mental health support, rehabilitation, side-effect management, palliative care, caregiver guidance, and wellness strategies. The goal is to empower individuals with knowledge, enhance comfort, promote informed
decision-making, and provide holistic support during and after treatment.
